GENERAL ITINERARY:
Day 01 - Arrive Kathmandu
Day 02 - Sightseeing in Kathmandu/last minute preparations Opportunity to visit UNESCO’s World Heritage sites; Durbar Square, Bouddhanath Town, and Bhaktapur, more on Katmandu Site Seeing
Day 03 - Flight to Lukla & trek to Phakding or Bengkar 3hrs easy day
Day 04 - Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m) 5hrs+
Day 05 - Rest day/acclimatization in Namche or day hike to Khunde 3hrs R/T
Day 06 - Trek to Tengboche[3864m] 4hrs easy day
Day 07 - Trek to Dingboche [4410m] 5hrs easy day
Day 08 - Trek to Dughla or Lobuche [4620m--4910m] easy day
Day 10 - Trek to Gorak Shep [5140m] easy day
Day 11 - Trek to Everest BC [5140], back to Gorak Shep 6hrs+ (depending on team strength, we might  go for the summit  of Kalapatthar on the way back) this could be our hardest day
Day 12 – Summit Kalapatthar [5550m] trek to Dzonghla [4830m] hard day but on the way down!
Day 13 - Trek over  Cho-La Pass [5330m] then on to Gokyo [4790m] 5hrs+
Day 14 – Summit Chukung Ri [5535m] then trek to Phortse [3810m] long day
Day 15 – Trek to Lukla [2840m] long day, all down!!
Day 16 – Fly out to Katmandu

Disclaimer: This is just an outline for the trek. As always, mountain weather or inclement snow conditions play a role in day to day planning (example: fog at Lukla airstrip or snow at Cho-La Pass) our main objective is to reach Mt Everest Base Camp and we will tailor the trip to maximize that success.

PRICE INCLUDES:
3 nights accommodation at 3 star hotel in Kathmandu’s Thamel District, based on double occupancy/breakfast included (2 nights before trek and one night after the return)
Accommodation at lodges during trek (breakfast and dinner included)
Kathmandu/Lukla/Kathmandu flight
Sagaramatha National Park fee
Professional and experienced guide fee (hey, you can tip me if you want or buy me a dinner?!)
Medical kit and mountain medicine expertise.

ITEMS EXCLUDED:
Lunch/snacks on the trail
All drinks in KTM and on the trail, example: beer, soda, etc.

WHAT TO EXPEXCT:
Sleep at guest houses/lodges along the trail. Eat breakfast and hike on average 4-6 hrs. Since we will be staying at lodges, back packs should be light! Day time temperatures should be in the 50’s and sunny, nights can get cold! As we move higher, temperatures will drop!
